The Cavert Legacy

For more than four decades of committed service and leadership as the Founder of The Women’s Board, Ellen Cavert has indelibly made an impact on the health care provided by Wolfson Children’s Hospital. To honor Mrs. Cavert, the forty Founding Members of The Women’s Board and their legacy of improving countless lives of children and their families, The Women’s Board has established the Cavert Legacy Society and Endowment.

This endowment will support the purpose and mission of The Women’s Board in perpetuity so that we can continue to do even more to support Wolfson Children’s Hospital.  A portion of our donations is given annually until this endowment is fully funded.  Donors may also give directly to this endowment.

We invite our members, their families, and our friends and supporters to become members of the Cavert Legacy Society. To join, simply designate the Cavert Legacy Endowment in your estate plan (bequests, trusts, gift annuities, charitable IRA rollover gifts) or one can make an outright gift. Donors making planned or straight donations of $25,000 or above will join the Cavert Legacy Society as well as become members of the Society of 1955, the official legacy society of the Baptist Health Foundation. Gifts of all sizes are welcomed and encouraged as we build this important endowment.

Your support will help to ensure that The Women’s Board continues to serve the children of Wolfson Children’s Hospital for years to come. For more information, please contact Ashley Helmick, Director of The Women’s Board, at 904.202.4926 or e-mail The Women’s Board at womensboard@bmcjax.com.
