Presented by The Women’s Board, this phenomenal series raises awareness and funds for Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Elle Hariton: An Inspiration

Elle Hariton is proving once again that a mother’s bottomless love and  patience combined with a child’s determination and resilience can work miracles. Elle was born  in February 2008, six weeks early and not as responsive as other premature babies. The infant’s lack of muscle tone persisted; so Elle’s pediatrician ordered physical therapy. At her first appointment, the therapist found Elle had a dislocated hip, unexplained by injury. Eric Loveless, MD, pediatric orthopedist at Wolfson  Children’s Hospital and Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, determined the hip dislocation was present at birth. “I immediately connected it to a neurological problem,” recalled Loveless. The 2016 Young Collectors had a great time at this year’s Show. Their enthusiasm for the children is contagious. We appreciate their contributions to the Women’s Board. Our Young Collectors are a dynamic, energetic group who are passionate about raising funds through The Women’s Board for Wolfson Children’s Hospital! Age 30 and younger, the group consists of both members and non-members who volunteer for the Art & Antiques Show and the Florida Forum. Many are children and grandchildren of Founding or long-time Women’s Board members, establishing a generational bond throughout the organization.
