2012 Art & Antiques Show

The Women’s Board celebrated the Scottish-themed 2012 Art & Antiques Show with an ultra-modern kick-off part in early May 2012. Chaired by Josie Duncan, Benham Purcell and Linda Street, the Show featured kilts, tartans, bagpipes, golf, Scotch tastings and the presentation of the haggis. As always, the Show highlighted collections from nationally and internationally distinguished antiques dealers.

A HIGHLAND FLING We hope you were able to join us Thursday, November 29, 7pm-11pm, for a fabulous Opening Night Party heralding Jacksonville’s winter social season. Presented by BB&T , the 2012 black-tie party celebrated the 36th annual Art & Antiques Show in true Scottish style. 2012 Young Collectors

The Women’s Board Young Collectors are budding collectors and Women’s Board members, aged 35 and under, collaborating to raise awareness for Wolfson Children’s Hospital and support contributions to vital funds for general Hospital program and clinical equipment needs. This year, the Young Collectors held a fabulous party at D Dot Ranch, and hosted a special Young Collectors Booth at the 2012 Art & Antiques Show. 2012 Children’s Fashion Show

Each year The Women’s Board hosts the Children’s Fashion Show, featuring current and former patients of Wolfson Children’s Hospital. This heartwarming show funds cutting-edge programs and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for the only inpatient healthcare facility area-wide that is dedicated solely to children. Historically presented during the three-day Art & Antiques Show, the 2012 Children’s Fashion Show was presented at the University of North Florida’s Lazzara Performance Hall on November 3 in an exciting expanded format.
