The 2019 Opening Night Gala Celebrated “Paris In Full Bloom”
This spectacular event captured the Spirit of Paris In Full bloom on Friday, December 6, 2019
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm Benefactor Reception
7:30 pm – 12:00 am Dinner and Dancing
Our opening night black-tie gala is arguably the most highly anticipated social event in Jacksonville. The Women’s Board transforms the beautiful Prime F. Osborn Convention Center, which is Jacksonville’s historic downtown train station, into a magical venue featuring the theme of that year’s Show. From “Paris In Full Bloom”, Old Palm Beach, beautiful London, old-world Spain, to the Deep South, faraway India, and Art Deco, our volunteers outdo themselves year after year to create the most incredible ambiance possible for our guests. Chefs from Savor worked hard all year to create menus highlighting the year’s theme, and the meals they create are truly delectable. Featuring live music until midnight, and sometimes beyond, The Art & Antiques Show Gala is not to be missed!

Remember past Galas
The 2016 4oth Anniversary Art & Antiques Show was an event to remember.
The 2016 Opening Night Party was a far-out, funky and fab event! Thank you to all of the many people who worked tirelessly to make this event the success that it was. We all dug out our black-tie disco threads and gathered together a for a look back at the 1970s and all that is reminiscent of that decade. We dined on ’70s inspired favorites like fondue, flambé and even Pop Rocks! Complete with a lighted dance floor, disco ball, and The RiverTown Band, this event made for a far-out evening.
